Pressing flowers can be very gratifying in itself and will add to the enjoyment of creating a finished pressed flower piece. I recently found a flower press specifically designed to allow maximum air flow as your plants & flowers are pressed dry. Improved air circulation lets the press breath and release moisture as your plants and flowers are in the micro-wave and/or pressed dry. You'll find that you can press much thicker flowers than ever before. The breathable inner layers of the flower press encourage pressed flowers to dry quicker and look better.
The process employed in the computer darkroom does not involve heavy plates, long exposure times, nor toxic chemicals. However, as with the early pioneers, the final image is a function of light, tone and composition. Relieved of the dangers associated with the original process, we can only hope to some day master a technique that "mirrors the truth". At Time Less Image we continue to seek exquisite beauty in our images, exploring all techniques, old and new.
Tom's Cats are still being taunted by some resident raccoons. I have only seen the pair of juvenile raccoons once, but the cats know that they are around. The camera will be at the ready!

Fortune has allowed me to come full circle and return to my earlier interest in photography. I am at that age were some weight loss would be beneficial. I certainly don't believe all photographers need to starve, but my initial goals are realistic, if not humble. The industry has changed tremendously, but the possibilities are unlimited. I am grateful that my parents' gave me a generic name. It's allowed me to explore numerous paths unhindered.

Blogs are ranked in various ways, and one of the more significant ones (besides linking or subscribing) happens via Technorati. In brief, Technorati tracks millions of blogs and lets users search them, tag them, and rank them. If you own a blog, or if you read them, I recommend signing up with Technorati (it's free and takes a couple minutes). And if you enjoy this blog, I encourage you, please, to "favorite" it.
