OK guys, do painful memories flash to the front of your consciousness when you hear the words:
One little capsule gives you the manhood you’ve always wanted!
- ExtenZe capsules give you what you want (and what women want!)
Initially I let out a chuckle when I hear the commercial start late at night. I swam for teams from the age of seven (YMCA) through my second year in college, so I can relate to George's moment of panic when he was caught with his trunks down:
- George: Well I just got back from swimming in the pool. And the water was
cold...
- Jerry: Oh... You mean... shrinkage.
- George: Yes. Significant shrinkage!
- Jerry: So you feel you were short changed.
- George: Yes! I mean, if she thinks that's me she's under a complete misapprehension. That was not me, Jerry. That was not me.
Before I continue, this advice is worth noting from WebMD: "Instead of furtively turning to untested methods, men with persistent concerns should consider opening up about them with their doctors. That's because performance problems sometimes act as an early warning signal for serious health problems. Your doctor might be able to prescribe something that can really help, or least provide a valuable dose of perspective about what constitutes "normal" sexual performance."
As the commercial continues, a second (and painful) memory comes to mind. This vision has more to do with the non physical side of the male ego. When I was in second grade our parents made sure that we brought in a bundle of Valentine Day cards. Magically it seemed that every parent had the complete list of all our classmates. You signed cards and envelopes until your hands ached. You fought like hell to make sure that none of your friends got one of the "cute" cards.
The teachers set aside time at the end of the day so that we could distribute our cards. Some of us had a bigger pile of cards than others, so obviously the parents either did not have total control of the class lists, or, more likely, on the way to school we trashed the cards of the jerks who made our lives hell. This was only second grade, but the cute girls got lots of cards!
On this particular day I was feeling pretty good. I knew nothing about statistics, but I knew my pile was ahead of the curve. Not big enough to cause unwanted attention, and heckling, but big enough that I could have visions of maybe one day actually being popular. However this brief moment of revelry was brought to a resounding crash when one of the new kids dropped a giant card on my desk.
Yes this was only second grade, but she was a goddess, a blond babe. She was the new kid, I didn't even know her name. I probably never would, unless I caught it when the teacher returned tests or finger paintings. She would be one of the popular kids.
The hoots and haws started immediately. I could feel every eye on me. My few friends were about to congratulate me. The popular big guys were planning the beating they would give me when the bell rang and we had to leave the building.
Hope your Valentine Day goes better.

Fortune has allowed me to come full circle and return to my earlier interest in photography. I am at that age were some weight loss would be beneficial. I certainly don't believe all photographers need to starve, but my initial goals are realistic, if not humble. The industry has changed tremendously, but the possibilities are unlimited. I am grateful that my parents' gave me a generic name. It's allowed me to explore numerous paths unhindered.
